PROJECTS

LUSH X MÜLL

In collaboration with LUSH Cosmetics, we crafted 2,000 bespoke combs in just 13 days, which sold out within a week. Each comb adhered to a specific colour scheme, meticulously measured to ensure client satisfaction. Through this project, we successfully recycled over 32 kg of plastic, showcasing our commitment to sustainability and innovative design.

Crisis x Müll

We partnered with Crisis charity to create stunning, one-of-a-kind rings by combining unwanted jewellery with recycled plastic waste. The result? Gorgeous, meaningful pieces that sold out in less than a week. No surprise there—they’re absolutely beautiful!

Fortnum and Mason

Müll Club partnered with the iconic British brand Fortnum & Mason to give their archived packaging waste a meaningful second life.

Using Fortnum’s surplus materials, we created a limited run of homewares in their signature Eau de Nil, the bright blue green shade that has defined the brand for generations.

Calm, timeless, and instantly recognisable, Eau de Nil now appears as coasters, trays, and soap dishes made entirely from recycled packaging. It is a fresh expression of luxury, where waste meets design and tradition meets reinvention.

London Festival of Architecture

We transformed the equivalent of eight individuals' annual plastic waste into 250 stunning tiles, now featured on a beautiful bench along the South Bank in London. This project, highlighted by Dezeen magazine, was part of a collaboration with the London Festival of Architecture, showcasing our dedication to sustainable design and innovative recycling. Collaborating with other brands and founders is a vital aspect of our mission, allowing us to help others creatively repurpose waste into beautiful products. Our goal is to redefine the perception of plastic 'waste' and showcase its potential.

LUSH COLLAB PT.2

Müll Club teamed up with Lush for a special collaboration celebrating the DreamWorks release of How to Train Your Dragon. We created more than 16,000 vibrant, recycled combs inspired by the world of dragons and adventure.

This was the most detailed product we have created to date. It pushed us to explore the limits of design in recycled plastic and the possibilities of injection moulding, proving how far waste materials can go when treated with care and creativity.

The collection landed in Lush stores around the world and sold out globally, showing the power of pairing circular design with a much loved story.

Turner Contemporary

We recently hosted a live recycling workshop for the Turner Contemporary gallery, where we collaborated with them to design a bespoke key ring. Each attendee had the opportunity to create their own key ring from recycled plastic, making the experience both personal and hands-on. Not only did we create a beautiful, bespoke product, but the event also served as an interactive and educational workshop, teaching participants about the recycling process in a fun, engaging way

Design Council

Müll Club was proud to take part in a project led by the Design Council for the UK Labour Party Conference. As the Design Council presented its key requests for climate action, our recycled plastic carabiners were included as part of the exhibition.

It was a small but meaningful way to show how everyday products can be redesigned with waste at the centre, highlighting the role of circular design in building a more sustainable future.

BBC Morning Live

The Morning Live comb was created during our day filming with Katrina and the BBC Morning Live team. Using the leftover blend from the shoot, we made a one off colourway that turned unused material into something bright and useful.

The colourway was chosen by Katrina and made entirely from recycled ice cream tubs and Celebration boxes. Each comb was crafted in Margate and carries the same spirit as the feature on the show. It is a simple example of how we keep waste in circulation and give it a new purpose.

YARD SALE PIZZA
Pizza tables into combs

Using the plastic pizza tables from Yard Sale Pizza, one of London's most renowned pizza places, we transformed their waste into a new YSP blend, creating our beautiful yellow combs. Additionally, we recycled their clear plastic sauce pots and should you combine them with the cardboard pizza boxes, enabling Yard Sale Pizza's packaging to be completely zero waste. This collaboration showcases how there are no limits to the types of plastic we can find within a supply chain, emphasising our commitment to sustainability and innovative recycling practices.

FAACE x MÜLL
 using Quality St tubs

Using last years Christmas Quality Street tubs, we created a colour way perfect for the Filthy Faace body and face soap bars. We worked closely with the founder to mix a blend that not only looks beautiful but has a purpose, and perfectly created a Christmas gift set. Last years Christmas waste became this years Christmas presents.

THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Bespoke spoon rest

We designed and created a bespoke spoon rest for Michael O'Hare, the acclaimed chef behind the Michelin-starred restaurant The Man Behind The Curtain. This spoon rest is an integral part of his tasting menu, seamlessly blending functionality with artistry. By collaborating closely with Michael, we developed a piece that not only complements his innovative cuisine but also enhances the dining experience as a work of art on his tables. Michael O'Hare is renowned for his avant-garde approach to cooking, making this collaboration a true fusion of culinary and artistic excellence.

Turner Contemporary

Another interesting project with the Turner. This time we transformed the waste material from an exhibition into the new Turner sign. We used white PP tubs that were previously used for clay. So now the exhibition has gone, the waste can last forever in a gorgeous, creative way.

OAST BAKERY | MARGATE
6 x Table Tops

We crafted a perfect colourway using recycled plastic waste to seamlessly match the existing colours at Oast Bakery Margate. By incorporating plastic waste from their customer base, we created vibrant pops of colour that allow each customer to spot their own contributions. This unique approach fosters a sense of community ownership and connection within the bakery. Impressively, we recycled 44kg of plastic waste, equivalent to almost 100 people's weekly plastic usage. We think that's pretty cool.

W3 Design

We teamed up with W3 Design to create a bespoke giveaway for their clients. Using a mix of their rubbish and ours, we turned waste into something truly gorgeous—because collaboration and creativity make the best kind of recycling!

Margate Pride

At Margate Pride, held at Dreamland Margate, we teamed up with the Pride team to create bespoke key rings for the event. Attendees had the opportunity to craft their own key rings made from 100% recycled plastic, providing not just a unique takeaway from the event, but also continuing the conversation around sustainability. It was a fun and meaningful way to celebrate Pride while raising awareness about environmental responsibility.

AWS

For an AWS event, we took on the challenge of crafting a unique keyring in a bold orange and black colourway. It wasn’t an easy colour combination, but by balancing the vibrant hues on a crisp white base, we turned the tricky combo into something seriously cool.
