The Müll story

Disrupting the recycling system

Welcome to the Club

At Müll Club, technology, design, and community drive meet. Our first-of-its-kind recycling system empowers our community with positive environmental feedback, allowing recyclers to track, to the gram, exactly how much they’re recycling. We offer a transparent solution through our Margate hub, where waste is transformed into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

It’s not just recycling—it’s a beautiful revolution.

How it began

Müll Club was born from Charlie’s refill shop in South London. When business slowed after lockdown and customers returned to busy lives and less sustainable shopping habits, Charlie had a bold idea: if she couldn’t change shopping habits, she’d change the recycling system.

In the UK, 58% of plastic waste collected for recycling ends up in landfill, 14% is exported, 11% is incinerated, and only 17% is truly recycled. That’s not good enough—and Müll Club is here to change that.

A easy way to live more sustainably

We’ve made recycling as easy as your kerbside collection—but way more rewarding! With personalized stats for every recycler, you’ll see exactly how your efforts are making a positive impact on the planet. From the Highlands of Scotland to sunny Penzance, our online portal brings recycling to everyone. The future of recycling is here, and we’re so excited you’re part of it!

Created for the home, using household waste

We collect waste directly from homes across the UK and send it straight to our Margate studio, where we recycle it in-house. No endless journeys around the globe, no hidden incineration—just honest, straightforward recycling, exactly as promised.
